• Wang Shouren, also known by his childhood name Yun, courtesy name Bo'an, and pseudonym Yangming, was a prominent figure from Shaoxing, Zhejiang during the Ming Dynasty. He was a renowned thinker, writer, philosopher, and military strategist, known for being a key figure in the development of the Lu-Wang school of Neo-Confucianism. Wang Shouren was well-versed in Confucianism, Daoism, and Buddhism.
